Back in 2021, this client needed a simple eCommerce setup to sell Patchbox products online. We integrated WooCommerce, loaded all products and variants, set up payments, and got the site ready to take orders. I still remember getting the first sale notification — always a great feeling when your work helps a business generate real revenue.
From there, we kicked off SEO. With low competition and solid search volume, rankings climbed fast for key Patchbox terms. Within the first year, they brought in over R9M in online sales. We later revamped their site for better user experience, cleaner design, and frictionless checkout, while pushing SEO even harder.
Challenges
The biggest challenge here was expanding the site’s reach beyond Patchbox. As sales grew, the client added more IT and cybersecurity products, which meant scaling content, SEO, and paid ads. Managing growth while keeping the experience seamless was key.
